Art historian and graphic artist, born in 1954, Jelgava (Latvia).
Education
2003
Graduated the Art Academy of Latvia, Art History and Theory Department, with his graduate thesis work “Artist Ludolfs Liberts’ Life and Creative Work” (advisor Ingrida Burane).
1981-1983
Graduated the People’s University of Culture, Design Faculty at the Polygraphist Central Club in Riga, with his graduate thesis work titled “Artistic Design of the ‘RAF’ Factory Gallery” (advisor Arnolds Vilbergs).
1971-1973
Attended the High School of Applied Arts in Riga, Art Glass Department.

Fine art field
Favorite medias are pastels, black ink drawing and computer art. Create abstract compositions and often used there symbols, signs of cultures and history.

Has exhibited since 1977 and had personal exhibitions in Latvia and North Macedonia. Participated in group exhibits in Armenia, Colombia, Danemark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Spain and United Kingdom

Favorite objects of my photographs are Nature, unusual moments and sense.
Awarded photos in contests “I love you Jelgava” (The Palace of Jelgava. 2011) and “Summer” (Summer. 2007).
